‘My Hero in Lindbergh’, diptychs by Paolo Massimo Testa

I’m fascinated with how a diptych portrait can provoke additional emotional response in contrast to a single portrait. By adding another element to the portrait, a whole new dimension is being released. I want my viewers to feel intimate sensations. It’s as if the viewers were there at the shoot; seeing both myself and my subject, hearing what we were saying, and feeling what we were feeling.
